| Description: |
Our client is one of the largest providers of management services for captive insurance companies in the world. The client is looking to add suitable qualified Account Executives to its busy Bermuda based office. The candidate will be required to manage, on a day-to-day basis, a portfolio of captive insurance companies. Key duties include:-
• Preparation of management financial statements on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis.
• Preparation of GAAP audited financial statements as required.
• Liaison with regulatory authorities and auditors as required.
• Possible attendance at board meetings of the parent companies of the captive insurance companies.
• An ability to work effectively in a team structure.
• A professional accounting designation (ie ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent).
• Prior experience of insurance, risk management or captive insurance would be an advantage.
• A high level of self-motivation.
• A familiarity with US, UK and IFRS GAAP would also be an advantage.
• Proven IT skills and experience of Microsoft Applications.
